The Girls Cross Country Team took part in the 34th Annual Gabriel Richard Invite on Saturday at Hudson Mills in Dexter. Twenty-two girls toed the line for the Cougars and brought home 19 PRs and 3 season bests, including 12 PRs of a minute or more. Morgan Aittama led the way for the Cougars finishing in 12th place with a PR of 20:09, the 2nd fastest time ever run by a girl at East. Alaina Rider was the #2 finisher in 31st place with a PR of 20:56, the 7th fastest time ever run at East and second fastest ever by a sophomore. The varsity tam placed 8th out of 14 teams.

The JV squad placed 3rd out of 9 teams and were led by medalists Brooke Lama (10th, 22:32); Rory Wyman (13th, 22:50); Lia Smith (16th, 22:57); Quinn Murphy (23rd, 23:19); and Reagan Ritchie (24th, 23:22).
