The South Lyon East Cougar soccer team was on the road again as they took on the the Vikings of Walled Lake Central. The East JV B team was victorious in their game. Freshman midfielder Jake Bogard score one goal for the team, Freshman Mann Patel scored two goals and Freshman, John Crapps assisted with two goals and gave the Cougars the game winning goal. JV B final score: East 4, WL Central 3.  The JV A team battled hard but fell to the Vikings. Junior, David Crapps scored with a penalty shot to put the Cougars on the scoreboard. JV A final score: East 1, WL Central 5

The East Varsity team started the match strong against the Vikings, who are currently leading the Lakes Valley Conference with a 4-0-1 record.  East had some great offensive opportunities but weren't able to put any points on the board. The Cougars defense along with Senior Goalkeeper Dallin Tanner were busy protecting goal throughout the match. Final Score: East 0, WL Central 5.

The Cougars are back on the road next Tuesday, heading to Waterford Mott.
